easiest way to do it in a mini is to go onto the existing mounts.

fit a cage and the mightly mini add on to mount the harnesses in, job done. The add on is from SD but fits both roll centre and SD cages. |

My first mini had a set of britax harnesess fitted and these were anchored only useing the existing tunnel mount and inner sil mounting points. Bugger to unclip to get to the back seats. And by the looks of it totaly wrong. Edited by Mr Joshua on 29th Oct, 2008. Own the day

Hi i just recently mounted harness ( 4 point), for the side bolts i drilled into tho arm rest type things on the outer sides of the seats then on the inner side of the seats (handbrake side) i drilled thru the floor ( on the hump, where the exhuast runs under the car) and bolted it down. Back seats removed, so drilled thru the back plate where the seat would rest up against, and bolted it down. hope it helpss, worked for me and still does. |

im sure i read somewhere that you shouldn't bolt it through the floor, because in the event of an accident the floor might move/bend/twist/buckle. cant remember the sauce though |

Use additional plates underneath the floor should solve this.

seat belt mounts in the back also v? I've never really like the angle this mounts the harnesses at, especially as it is way in excess of what is allowed by the Blue Book & the fitting instructions that came with my harnesses. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:

As milamber said weld extra plates in the bottom, or just not get in an accident On 29th Oct, 2008 Mini_Andy said:
