I am wanting to do a front mount rad on my project and i have researched everything posted on here but would just like to get a few ideas on which rad is most popular for reliabilty!!! i idealy want to go alloy similar to that in project tangerine but any other ideas would be great!!!

I have the Mk1 metro (the one with the inlet and outlet on the same side) and it works great, good great tho imo, cant seem to get enough heat into the engine. i think its copper rad.

I believe the fiat chinqwcento (sp?) is similar but made of ali...

have you made an additional bracket on you alternator or is that a standard one???

Its a Denso. And they are standard brackets. The alternator has been modded slightly.

1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Dunno wether im gonna get away with a mk1 metro rad and a standard alternator, what you reckon??

Turbo 22, its all down to how big you want it and yeah the connections on the water pump end are good, just means less plumbing and less of a headache to find the right hoses.

Under a clubby you should be ok. Under a round nose, no chance.

This is my Fiat Cinquecento rad, its made out of copper so quite heavy but VERY efficient. *wink*

it looks like you have take the nogging off an old alternator and welded it on??

No, my alternator must have been a different types to the usual ones ive seen as it has the extra bit on the left handside.

This is my front rad, its a fiat one. Fits in alright tight on the starter. i didn't want to cut to much out the front pannel.
