hi i wonder if anyone could help me today was startup day on my turbo mini before i took old engine out i disconnected battery by removing earth terminal when i connected it back up to try and start car the car is turning over on its own as soon as i try to connect earth the ignition is definatley off keys arnt even in the car does anyone have any idea what it could be im totally at a loss as to what it could be thanks

Which starter motor are you using ???

Pre-engaged or Inertia ???

Do you have a wing solenoid or is your start wire connected direct to a solenoid on top of the starter ???

Seems like your heavy leads and solenoid wiring are incompatible with your setup.

hi im using starter that was on turbo engine it looks exactly the same as was on my 998 it has 3 brown wires that go to 1 threaded there is no other connections to it
