ok nos 1-5 are the relay terminals with 3 being connected to 4, this is the diagram i got from a site but i had to change the wires to 2 and 5 around otherwise the car starts on ignition pos 2, the car now runs fine but if i earth the oil pressure switch wire the pup will not die, i dont want to die in a crash can anyone help?

I've not got a clue what all the jargon above your words "ok nos 1-5 are the relay terminals with 3 being connected to......." is acutally meaning...

Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....

sorry it did look right when i did it but when i posted it it came out crap, check out www.sgodfrey.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/mini/turbo/MiniWire1.jpg for the diagram, the oil pressure wire and pos 3 ignition wire are switched round though

best bet for pump wiring is to have a look on page 2 of the "how to" section of this site.

whats wrong with my one then? looked at gibbos how many terminals does the relay have, 4? also it just says connect when ignition is on is this pos 2 or 3. my car is getting an mot tomorow so would like to get it sorted, cheers for looking
