I want drill/retap (some of the existing threads are knackered) my timing cover backplate to a metric thread and fit some shiny cap heads.

am i right in thinking i need to goto an M8 thread?

If your talking about the ones that go into the backplate and hold the cover on. M8 will be the next equivilant size up, youll find that M6 will actually screw in and hold, Youre not really supposed to do this but i have in the past and never had any probs.

1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.
