hi tried to start turbo engine for first time today and had petrol filling my plenum up does anyone have any ideas or tips to try to find problem am sure pipes are in correct places as was working off a picture

Make sure the pipes are on correct if the fuel pipe is connected to the wrong point it will fill the plenum as you described! i learnt the hard way on my first build cost me a fiver! There is a picture on here somewhere try the search!. ron

hi i searched on here and used the carb connection photo on most veiwed images pretty sure there on ok

In the garage......again!!

sounds like the float needle may be sticking, take the dash pot off and switch on the pump see if you can see fuel pouring from the jet.

^^^ That is what I would have said, or your fuel pressure is set too high.

thanks for help much appreciated think i may have been folowing wrong arrows on regulator i have 1 on top going 1 way and 2 underneath going another way i followed top arrow for fuel in not sure if this is correct

Have a look in the FAQ to check your pluming. tehre is a post near the top that I've just fixed the pics on....
