Hi everyone,
ive been asked to post a few pics of my projects ok i no this is turbominis but do you mind me posting pics of my metro?

Here are a few random pics of my mini anyway:

The interior after removing about an inch of stone chip and waxoil, YES! INSIDE THE CAR! *surprised*

This is when i got it, it has been awfully deseamed in the past so im going to have to redo that, after finding out the front wings and slam panel were bodged with filler and fibreglass out came the grinder *happy*

The bot floor will be coming out in favour of a carbon sheet or alloy panel, i havent decided which yet as its a long way off *oh well*

These pics are of the powdercoated and new bits *happy*

(that reminds me i must go get a pic of the rear subby)

ive had all the running gear powdercoated and added a few trick bits some of these are:
7.9" non vented mini sport gold calipers
K.A.D fully adjustable rose jointed tie rods
mini speed fully in-site adjustable bottom arms
late model uprated bearings
grooved 7.9" disks
poly bushes throughtout
brand new radius arms and back plates
alloyfin drums
uprated rear pads
K.A.D rear handbrake quadrants
quick rack steering coloumn
AVO rear coilies with poly mounts

My list of running gear bits that i stil havent bought are:
K.A.D (or similar) rear arb
lightweight rear hubs (specialist components parts probably)
custom underside tray (aerodynamics and protection)
im sure there is much much more i just cant think of any at the moment
Thanks for looking
Ben

ohh nearly forgot the most important bit! the engine!

Well ok its not a very good spec list as im still unsure on setup's but basically i want something along the lines of

1293 block
sccr box with soem form of uprated diff or pin
fully lightened balanced assembly
K1100 head custom mainfolds and soem form of aftermarket turbo, the t3 is old school technology so im sure when im coming to do all this there will be other turbos tried and tested i could give a go *smiley*

have a search around this sit about the gt range of turbo's there are a few different one being used at the momeny from the gt15 on turbo tel's car that performs very well as an every day car. the very very popular and well recommended gt17 which is being used by a few people with great results such as robert on his innovative 5-port and matty with his k1100. even up to the gt25v (yep variable vien) on mini-13's 7 porter.

hope that gives you something to think about mate. i am currently researching my turbo choice and have norrowed it down to somewhere between gt20 - gt25 but that is a long way off in my project so will concentrate on that nearer the time.

looks great so far mat keep us posted.
