id say it looks like some flashing from when its was cast, nothing to worry about

i belive you have to heat it up alot to then weld it? but that looks like its just webbing to me, doesnt look like it follows the line of the manifold Drives

Its where the drilling for the stud has broken thru I reckon, nothing to worry about.
