Do you mean the larger diameter hollow pushrods?
I know someone that tried them but they fowled the block and head quite badly even though the block was machined to supposedly clear them.
I wouldnt bother, you gain nothing.

Paul

I seriously doubt it!

ye, similar but in titanium with carbon centres , seems that the mods must be quite extensive to clear with that diameter pushrods ! thanks for the comments

The C-C bond is the strongest bond in chemistry. It is best suited to being pulled. Carbon Fibre would make brilliant pullrods, but sadly in pushrods, they are only as good as the resin which supports them, pretty much....

You could probably get some sort of very light alloy.... wikipedia alloys and look at the properties, but these would probably have a drawback like expansion.

We aren't in the days of 12000 rpm short strokes anymore, so bit overkill IMO.

Having said, I did slim polish mine slightly and lost a bit of weight elsewhere.

Bugger off, I'm getting there.

One of mine fractured at one end, whipped them out and put in some standard ones.
