Anyone ever adapted a Metro handbrake cable to fit a mini?

The ends look the same, obviously the lengths will be different, but they do not use the quadrants.

Potential easy solution to ftting a handbrake to the Miglia.

Did a bit of research and found this:

This guy has used a metro handbrake cable and metro hubs/arms but the photos show how it could be fitted.

Just need a couple of small brackets on the subframe. The standard handbrake cable bracket on the arms should hold the end of the metro cable.
