Does anybody have a link or know somewhere i can work out which compressor wheel is on a turbo? I have just got a T3 that is unknown but physically looks quite big.

Cheers for the link Rod looks to be a 50 trim compressor wheel, so that is the same as a escort turbo as you suspected iain? Seems to have been a good gamble :)

Sorry yeah the escort has the .36. I was more so talking about the compressor side. Now i dont really understand how to read compressor maps more of a bolt it on and see if it works kinda guy, The .36 seemed to bring the boost in around 500rpm later than the smaller metro housing so would this housing delay it a further 500rpm or is it just not that simple |

prob would delay it a bit ,but then again yuor moving more air per rev of the wheel so try it and see ?could you not stick on the smaller housing if it doesnt work

That is what i was thinking robert suck it and see, if it makes the times any better then its a winner. I have quite a good selection of T3 housings so if it doesnt work i can try it on something smaller. thanks for the help chaps!! |
