has anyone got a photo of how a thermostat should be drilled |

round the edge on the flat bit, i stick in 6 6mm holes, be careful of the small folded tabs that hold it together |

If you run with the heater tap always open then that allows somewhere for the water to go when the thermostate is closed, so no holes are needed. But if you want to be able to stop the water going through the heater matrix then yes, holes are a good idea to allow some bypass ( If you have no bypass hose). -MINI CLUBMAN 1380 TURBO- |
