carbon fibre roof and de seeming do they mix

i under stand that i need to leave a bit for the roof to stick on to once i have cut the old one off but when it comes to de seeming would it not leave a edge all the way round and look a little unsightly what do you guys think ?

yes.

if you remove the gutter seam you would get the edge from roof skin there and, depending on how you went about it, would looks rather ugly!

i have de-seamed mine and am going to be fitting a fiberglass roofskin but i have left the gutter rail inplace.

i blended mine with fibreglass and gel coat

i wouldnt emagen if its showing weave to look overrly brilliant

but like markgtt said s,ooth it with fibreglass to get rid of the lil step up
and spray it same colours as the car, i think itll look as good as any other deseamed mini with metal roof

how well did it turn out markgtt how old is it is there any signs of stress

looks fine so far but the car hasnt done many / any miles since the install.
