Ive got a friend who is building an electric mini and utilising something similar to a mini gearbox for the final drive, however he needs the spline specification to what the pinion wheel is attached too and he alse requires the distance between the centre line of the pinion shaft to the centre of the diff! hes measures 4" but wants a propper measurement!

anyone got this info, i cant find it in any of my propper old austin books!

I think most just buy these parts and fit them, no need to measure anything.

Looks like you will have to get the tape measure out :)

I don't have this info - ad sprox says - it's not needed too often.

It should be easy to measure hovever?

im not too sure how to measure the spline , i might take one to work and stick it on the CMM and then find some specs! im sure BMC / rover must have realeased the info or i can get it from minispares? ive asked mini mag to ask keith calver and see if he has the info!
