machine mart vat free days?

Does any one know if machine mart still do VAT free days? Want to buy my dad some wood working tools for christmas and it would save alot of cash to get it all on VAT free.

how do you get a card???i used to get stuff though the Uni motor club but thats going back afew years now.

It's not a "card" like a credit card !!!!

Just a postcard mailshot type thing.

I get them about once a year because I have bought big things from them in the past.

It's a good deal, buying with a mate, we have even got them to waive the carriage charges if we bought enough between us and had it delivered to one address only.

You have to get on the mailing list, this normally involves buying something. Mind you my vat free cards have stopped over the last 6 months. I will have to drop in my local and get it sorted. The other way to get on the vat free list is go along with some one as a guest.

i got one the other week but never got round to going! probably a good thing, would of spent too much! lol!

You have just missed out the leicester store has had one middle of the month!! I only ever buy stuff from machine mart on the vat free days, its strange that im the only one that gets them in my family when we all use the same store!?

There seems to be a few of us lot around leicester.

I said this the other day, but I think in reality it is just the 3 of us.

last time i was in asking about the VAT free days the guy said they are stopping sending out the cards and going by email instead
