ive got one of these for my "miniota" and am struggling with the 2 connections. ive fitted it but seem to e loseing boost pressure anyone got a clue

i hve found this do you think it looks right a pipe from the turbo to the pipe at 12 oclock in the top pic and the normal vac pipe on the pipe at 9 oclock
no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

look to me like it is a bypass valve like what is fitted to superchargers to stop them developing losts of boost at low revs/idle? (or atleast i think that what they do)
