This Sunday In Ipswich, Drag Mustang on Rolling Road

Hi guys, just thought I'd let you know that this Sunday the 30th, the drag car that i went out in will be having it's carbs set up on a local rolling road, every one is welcome to come down and have a look and a LISTEN! AS it's going to be BLOODY loud from it's 10 litre N/A V8 engine, making around 800+ bhp.

just got a time, The car should be there from 10 am.

well, for straight line acceleration, you do actualy want a bit of suspension movment, you also want a high CofG so that under acceleration the mass of the vehicle centres over the rearward driving wheels aiding grip and thus acceleration....minis being FWD would be crap at this concept and concentration of mass over the rear wheels compaired to the front would then mean the front have more oppertunity to brake contact with the contact surface, result in wheel spin and reduction in acceleration.....simple answer....nope

As for figs......... it made just under 700 bhp at 5800 rpm, but what it's been build for is torque and that was are you readly lol.. 917Lbft at just under 2300 rpm!
