i gotta admit that that is one well nice car!! Its a pity that ur carrying all that weight of an estate if ur gonna drag it!! Seriously good use of space, i just hope that u don't decide the brakes need a servo, cos space may be a slight problem!!!

very well thought out layout :) love the little details in peoples cars :) like the rose joints supporting the top of the turbo :) turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

That is sweet, but lets have more pics of the exterior - the paint colour and starmags just look sooooooo right!

oh, couldn't make out that it was connected to the pipe going into the plenum... Now it seems obvious!

Thanks for all the compliments guys.Its rolling road day thursday,i hope all goes well. I chose the turbo specifically it's a Garrett t3/t4 hybrid..with a 35mm Tial wastegate...and Turbo xs dump valve....And it is loud.....tttssssssssss love that straight cut scream!!!

rolling road day wasnt good but wasnt bad either ....after setting the fuelling for over an hour...the carb got so hot it was boiling the petrol ..and throwing the readings all to cock..so no power run......on the road however the air flow keeps the carb cool..but i think a heatshield wont do any harm.... i may need a fan just to keep the carb cool..but if anyones got any suggestions please let me know love that straight cut scream!!!

when i get mine nailed back together im going to use a motorbike fan (about 8" diameter) and some ducting, and take a fresh air feed from the inner wing and blow it straight over the carb. i would have thought that plus a heat shield ought to solve you problem. Lovely set up btw.
And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers! |
