When taking the 3rd motion shaft out of the gearbox I let the sycro hubs get a bit loose so of course the balls and detent springs wizzed past my ear. So putting it all back together again is going ok but I don't know which way the inner parts of the syncros orientate. Does the raised but on the 1st/2nd sync go towards 1st or toward second gear (see pic) and same with the 3rd/4th sync?

The raised centre goes on the same side as the "biggest" shiny part of the syncro hub. Did that make sense? :)

Just need a new 1st gear (mines a bit worn) and a 3.1cwp and I can finish it off.
