Hi,

Does anybody have any specs for the engine in this mini, or even better the issue of miniworld it was featured in?

Cheers, Oli.

Yeah thats where i first saw it, but they only give you basic specs on it, like it being a 1460 swiftune engine, a minus shell, beam axle etc.

Oh right, thanks very much Paul.

No worries,
Interior reads much the same, everything and anything you'd ever want from sparco seats , curley dash and stack display. oh and a 800 pound headlining.

Says hes spent 28k plus, i can beleve it

£800 on a headlining! Bit of an overkill imo.

It never ran a 1/4. TBH weighing 520kg with a long stroke motor, 3.9 diff and 13" wheels, I doubt very much it would go under 14 secs

Paul

I seriously doubt it!

You say 'long stoke' do you consider this to be a bad thing over a n/a 1380, or is it just the combination with the 3.9 diff etc?

You need a revvy engine for 1/4 mile, long strokers dont rev as well

Paul

I seriously doubt it!

So would you say a long stroke would be a good road engine then?

Sorry about all the questions, just trying to get some information so i can decide finally what to do about my engine.

Yes, but an unnecessary expense. You wont get much more power for the money

I seriously doubt it!

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
