I have aquired what appears to me a metro turbo short block, the bores stil have the origional honeing marks and are mint, it has the turbo pistons(googled the part number) however it has the CAM6232 crank, thought turbo engines had different cranks? not to bothered as its mint. jsut curious! turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

from what i read in the past i think early turbo engines had the en40b cranks in, but i'm not sure what part number is, and i also don't know when it was they stopped using the en40b material? |

it was only early engines that had the en40 cranks (well supposedly). later ones didnt. not really needed.

You will find some Turbo engines with cranks numbered 6581, these seem to be harder wearing than their 6232 counterparts.
