So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

A friend of mine was blowing the crap out of his combine, he had the gubbins running so could get all the dust out. Being a bit of a girl, he had some gardening gloves on so his hands didn't get dirty. But his hand got too close to one of the belts and whipped it thro' cutting off his fingers to the hand. He said if he didnt have the glove on it wouldnt have got caught.

ouch

First rule of working on rotating machinery - never wear gloves or loose clothing, that way it will only take the body part that gets too close, other wise you get dragged in and loose more than just the tip off your finger!

Rotating machinery includes drills, mills, lathes and timing belts (Robert)

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

my dad used to be what is basically a woodwork engineer ( built church organs) and his fingers are flat ended after slipping and going over the top of a planer...

and then his thumb has been sewn back on after getting stuck in the flywheel of a lister D...

but to be fair, you wouldnt notice if i didnt tell you!
