think some of you might have seen it in me crx for sale post but i went up to have a look at this car on saturday afternoon and swapped it for my crx :)

its a weird 1.5 12v motor with siamesed exhausts running around 100 banana's, 80k on the clock and the interior is proper mint and 80's retrotastic. the chap i got it from runs the 3rd gen civic owners thing and only knows of one other black GT in the country so its pretty rare apparently. car only weighs 805kg aswell without my lard in it!

and yes before anyone moans i will get the mini fixed, no plans to do anything to this until the minis back by summer (if we have one next year)

came with a set of these Mugen splitties aswell which i'm going to refurb and bang on.

Having been with Nick to fetch this, I can say I am very jealous, it is like a brand new car inside, and very nice to drive. Just sent an hour on ebay trying to find an 80's box for myself lol

yeah thats a 4th gen civic, same year as me old crx. the yanks seem to get massive amounts of power out of these honda lumps.

gong to have a look at lowering the front end of the civic this weekend if the weathers ok cos its like a 4x4 atm. its on torsion bars up front so could be interesting as i've never messed with them before, all i know is something about moving it round a spline and see how it looks/feels.....hmmmm.

have been messing with this now the weathers picking back up, fitted a 4-2-1 manifold and a stainless exhaust, dropped the front end a bit more, got the spare wheels refurbed and fitted, full service and probably a few others bits i've forgotten too.

for some reason i can't find the motivation to get back in the garage and do anything with the mini though :( i really want it back on the road but it needs a load of cash throwing at it all in one which is whats putting me off i think.

here's a few pics of the civic though from last weekend when we got a bit of sun, lol. spent 4hrs washing, claying, polishing and 2 coats of wax, i like cleaning em though for some strange reason.
