Hi guys,

Picking up a Nissan 200sx on saturday, its got a completely standard engine bar a full decat system.

It's got a t25 as standard, but the guy has got a -31 actuator on it and it peaks at 14psi.

I know it would be easier to ask on a more specific forum but I know you guys know your stuff (plus i wanted to ask without the chap seeing as he assured me its fine!).

But my concern is this, is 14psi abit to much for a standard engine like this? It has an intercooler, but its pretty small and a standard ECU.

Just wanted to sak your opinions really, he's done 20k on it since a full rebuild with new pistons etc.

Thanks chaps.

You can run that boost but you really should have plugs to suit, and an uprated fuel pump.

I have an s14a with the SR20DET running similar mods, along with exhaust etc.

Any more boost and you will be hitting fuel cut on the standard ecu.

Thanks matey, I was talking to the guy as I test drove it and he said on a hot day it already hits fuel cut, and its got HKS iridium plugs so i'm hoping it will be ok.

Going to finish the mini before I start getting bits for it though! I must I must I must lol

Cool cool, yeah I heard thats one of the major things which is quite common!

I'm confident it'll be ok for a while yet considering the mileage and how well it runs! I'll show you all after i've picked it up! :)

Cheers
