Need to get a wiper motor sorted out for the hilclimber, have got a full bulkhead box, so will need to be mounted direct to the scuttle, and as small and lightweight as possible.

Have been looking round the local scrap yards, but they're all quite big motors. Sounds like its my only option though. |

what class are you hillclimbing in ? didnt think you could have a full bulkhead box anymore as you would have to remove part of the structure between the wheel centres ( ie the bulkhead panel ) |

Yep modification for induction is allowed. Plus all that shit 2 years ago about minis has more or less gone away. Every year it seems the scruts have something that they push. This year it will be fuel sampling. Well not actually sampling, but checking that they can if they wanted to.

dont wish to hijack the post , induction clearance is allowed but only a clearance of 7.75cm ,this includes ducting ,ram pipes etc ( not alot ) . also steel front wings upto wheel centres , rear compartement panels ( door pockets ) and the bit of back seat that everyone cuts out also boot floor upto the wheel centres must be fitted . the minis at gurston down have had nothing but trouble over this , i myself am currently having to put all this metalwork back in ( more weight ouch ) not happy , just mentioned this as wouldnt want someone else to have to go through retro fitting all this metal . |

I've got a metro rear wiper motor. It's not very big at all and should take metro front arms with a smaller blade (might have one of those as well).

These mods have been acceptable in this class for 40 years. to me that says they are acceptable. I have had my car in it's current state for over 7 years and it has complieed. there has been no rule change, so it is still elligabe. I have written to the MSA about this, but had no response in nearly a year. Will write again, this time with more anger. Having said that I had no eligability issues this season. Neil Masters has a GRP front and runs at Gurston. I have a feeling he has some token steel under it, which is fucjing stupid. I noticed that you've also cut the boot floor out, I take it you've not had any problems due to this either. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:
