Hi

Once I have got my mini running perfectly, in a few months or so I would like to start lightening it a bit.

The first area for me is the rear (subframe and radius arms) as when i was fitting it, they were sooo heavy.

The idea is to fit a rear beam with coilovers etc leaving the front as it is for the minute.

I would also like to fit lightened radius arms as they do weigh ALOT. I do however not have hundreds to spend on KAD etc. I heard some people do make their own and wondered if anyone knows of anything??

Cheers

Jon

The bespoke ones are more than the KAD ones

Would making my own not be a little risky though, strength and all that under continuous roade use??

Also if i do decide to go down this route where would i get the end section from, with the pin going through to attach to the hub?

Cheers

Remove the stub axle from your old arms. But there is a lot of stress on them & wouldn't make your own unless you really know what you're doing
