does any one know of tran x doing a plate type lsd that will fit pot joints and the original crownwheel???

Yes, but they are not a plate diff they are the ATB torque bias type. On 28th Aug, 2011 Kean said:

When you buy the diff you also need to buy the output shafts, these link the shaft to your chosen joint, pot or hardy. Unfortunately you will have to buy a new crown wheel and pinion as they don't fit.

I will be up for a group buy as well as im thinking of getting one. I think on the later style of diff you dont need to get output shafts to fit the pot joint as they are built into the diff?? |

on turbo's the 3.1 is common, the 2.9 is a good choice if you go on the motorway a fair bit.

If you are using it on the road moastly, then you don't want a plate diff anyway. even the one with the least locking will be too much IMO. Also plate diffs wear. ATBs are far better for road use. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph
