Oops. I got caught doing 105mph last night by an unmarked police car.

Oh well.. :) I knew i'd get done eventually. I think after my ban, i'll get a new 'daily driver' with a weenie engine, and save my valver for track days..

i usually drive round at about 90ish.. I actually thought it was a regular driver having a bit of fun with me! so i was driving harder than usual.. live and learn

I got caught on a motorbike a couple of years doing 87 in a 50

I went to court and my solicitor explained that I'd sold my bike and bought a Mini!

Seemed to tickle the judge a little me being 6ft 2 and driving a Mini which I think she assumed was slow
She didn't need to know it was turbo'd

Got off with 6 Points and £350 which I didn't think was too bad
would have been a right pain if I'd got a ban

Got caught in the mini at 99 many years ago by a Police biker cop, he let me off. Evidently he was following me for a mile, we all no how shakey your rear view can be with the shocks wound up!

My mates dad got caught a couple of years back passing an unmarked police car at 135 in his merc on the M1. The police man was following for quite a while and struggling to keep up. He only got a 6 month ban for that so you shouldn't get a long ban, my guess is a few weeks.

yeh, i think so, but he does have rather a history of driving at very high speeds, and also, its not like he cant afford not to drive because he has to get to work or anything, so he wouldnt really have had an excuse.

seems like everyone has been busted at close to 100. i got pulled doing 103 in a 60 and got away with it! that was about 4 years ago now, i would have had to retake my test and evrything!!
