Been lurking here for awhile, was talking to someone about this forum today so I figured I'd go ahead and make a first post.


I have a MG Metro Turbo conversion done. I autocross the car, and play a little on the street with it. Got a full cage, some new ice/amp/headunit/polk speakers, sportpack arches, rover minilights, ERA hoodscoop, SPARCO seats, etc. Good fun.

US autocross must be different to ours?
That looks like a showroom car, than one that'd partake in a rough motorsport...

In America autocrossing is usually timed runs around cones and other stuff on tarmac (my dad lives in America and sometimes it at the annual Austin-Healey car club meet so that's how I know). Much unlike the rough courses of British autocrosssing, but still great to watch

autocross in the states is on a large paved lot with pylons. great looking mini boo$ted

US autocross sounds like what we know as Autotest in the UK.......
