Yeah 5/16" UNF is correct, make sure you get them long enough to thread all the way through the captive nuts as if they only go a couple of threads into the captives they will probably pull the threads out before you can get them tight enough.

tip when fitting - get a can of waxoyl spray - with the tube - and spray lots into the area around the captive nuts. Smear over the bolts aswell before fitting...
