The first (from the left) inner column is my old fcked one, that used the bottom felt type bush. the 2nd one has the later type bush.

Do they just need a bit of brute force to get the column over the bushes? Mine isn't playing ball... On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

I decided to make a new one rather than play with the std one, quite happy too as I just have 2 nylon bushes to fit easily now and a CDS tubular inner column!

I recall having issues with this before; is there not a ring in the outer column to retain the bush? I may be completely wrong but I recall the later columns had this ring further up the column than the earlier ones. |

Im struggling to get the top bush in the column. Tried fitting it to the sleave first and the column first, but no luck. they are the same type of bushes as I removed from it... On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:
