Thought id just add that as well as sorting out missfiring etc, it appears i have sorted the idle issue aswell. Deicing block works a treat didnt even think it would work. I fitted it between the inlet pipe and carb with two gaskets against inlet flange and no gasket apart from sealant against the carb side to aid heat transfer and it idles all day now at 1000rpm! doesnt even skip a beat whereas before it was all over the place. the carb isnt iced however just feels cold. So am i right in presuming the fuel is just atomising better?:) Edited by greymini78 on 19th Dec, 2008. |

so you have a bini mini with a carb freezing issue? have you tried putting the injection back on it? |
