I have a MG Metro Turbo engine and tranny, and no one (on another board) has been able to give me specifics on the tranny. My one question is: Are these transmissions the stronger type (made with stronger gears and associated bits), than a standard 1275cc transmission? I would ask what the differential comes standard, but I believe the one I have has been traded out at some point anyway, so no worries there. **************************************

Thanks, iain. So, the same as later model A-series, or earlier? Keith Calver mentions that later models had uprated transmission bits as opposed to the ones from, say, the 80s...
