I've just painted up my head and just need to clean off the last little bits of over paint.

How can I protect the machined surfaces to stop them rusting? or do most people just paint them too?

Light oil, pack it up in a plastic bag and store somewhere warm/dry.

you can ge a laquer, but I have used the thinnest of thin fine coat of spray wax, works a treat, but if you are not carefull, it can get messy

the rocker cover will piss enough oil out so it will never go rusty...
