get a turbo mini , get out on the track/road with it and meet a few of the owners who use there cars and maybe you`ll find out what people are using and why !!

Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....

Thanks fellas. In response to you Mark, I am right out in the sticks down here. I see lots of mayfairs and cities but lairy minis are refinately rare. The only motorsport things I see are the usual 1380 stuff. I will be running something soon but don't fancy buying the wrong bits. It's an expensive old game.

I will search and see. stu

stu , i`m right up here in the back of beyond.
riveria run down your way and a few turbo from here were done , castle combe every year plenty of fast mini`s there.
what gets on our tits ( no names ) is the crap about all the stuff your going to do ( twinny/ford/8 port /superchargers etc etc etc )
theory is great but getting out and doing something counts a hell of a lot more .
Turboing a mini is not rocket science but a few people are trying to turn it into that!
I could go on all day but i`m trying grow up .

trying i said .lol.

Ahh, bollocks.......

I know I come across as a right tosser but I'm just not bothered talking about my achievements. Lets face it, what I have done so far isn't really the half of what it could be so, why brag? I've built some impressive cars and speedboats, but they were crappy compared to what I talk about, what's in the pipeline, what I'm considering. I am aware that my theoretical approach pisses people off and probably sounds very arrogant..... (Even I am aware of this, it is just very difficult not to). Maybe if I bragged about all of my completed bollocks, I might get some respect. If you are into your cars and aspects of optimising their performance, I would class myself as one of the best blokes to have a chat in the pub to. From a self prepared rallycar thousands of miles to a 75mph boat which runs in 2" of water.....good stories which have been told far too often. It's crappy having no people around which are on your wavelength and ones which are similar telling you to foxtrot oscar. I would rather be told to sod off rather than just have a stink vibe from everyone (cue Jimster comment) but to be quite honest I'll get there one way or another......

does not have to be a world beater , that takes time , but something that goes is better than nothing at all.
