Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

starting to come together, although the bulkhead box looks a little tight, may struggle with the air pipe...

*smiley*

Wehey!!! another turbo van.So I'm not the only one.Looks a beauty.
My bulkhead cut out is about the same size and I had a hell of a job with the air intake. Will have a look for the picture of the intake pipe I had to fabricate to overcome this.

My bulk head box is more of a couple of scoops (Previous owner) very very tight on the turbo

Mine's routed by the bottom rad hose and up behind the Rad.
Right pain in the arse to get in and out.

and not exactly ideal for Intake Air temps either.

It'll get done next time the engine comes out maybe *crying*

Blimey, that box does look awfully tight, I have been worrying about mine as have not yet had an engine in to see what clearance is like, but my box comes across to near the end of the 'scallop' behind where the LHD master cyls would sit, so I guess big enough.

Edit

PS Van looks great though, I especially like the 'frogeye' bonnet!

PPS Have you got the oil cooler under the inner wing? Is that why there are holes there?

Tom if thats where your box comes to you should be fine for the turbo its self

might be tight for routing the air feed hose to it though

I meant near to the far end of that scallop, almost half as wide again as the one in the picture above, so hopefully loads of room.......or else I am getting the welder out again.

I will try and get a picture of my bulkhead up for some opinion
