did a bit of homework on this a while back as theres some buts of the jag i could do with restoring, but couldnt find much :( would love to hear if you find anything! turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

Well chroming is a form of electroplating, same as anodising. and you can do small items at home if you have the correct solutions.

I use a company in Birmingham to do mine and have never had a problem with there work and is reltively cheaper than most called clear polishing |

No. The chromium goes over nickel which goes over cyanide copper and that needs a chemically clean and well polished substrate. Apart from the nastiness of the chemicals, Cr requires high current density which it would be difficult to achieve without a proper rectifier Geoff |

its not that expensive to get done if you find a friendly place, i had a load of bits done for £20. just had to wait till they have a batch to do. |
