I find the easiest way is to super glue the bolt to the end of one of my fingers. ______________________________________________________ |

use the hole as an extra breather, midgets blow oil out the rear seal with a turbo. 'Where does the engine go?' |

Megajolt works well on my engine, I have a blanking plug fitted but may well change to a breather. |

If you look down the hole once the dizzy is out you will see a drive plate with a slot and in the middle is a thread.

The dizzy drive is engaged into the camshaft. Once you have removed the dizzy look into the hole and you will see the dizzy drive, you can run a bolt into the end of the drive and twist it out clockwise. if you leave it in it could have disasterous consequences!

EDIT - just thought it's worth adding that if you have an early "A" block, there is a retaining boss - the bit that has a single recessed bolt holding it to the block and the dizzy clamp bolts to it with 2 more bolts - that has to come out first.

If you look down the hole once the dizzy is out you will see a drive plate with a slot and in the middle is a thread. Get a long 5/16" UNF bolt and carefully screw it in a few turns. Pull the shaft out with the bolt, it will rotate slightly as you pull as the drive teeth are helical. if its on a mini engine the bottom bolt from the radiator is a "long 5/16 UNF bolt" it comes in handy in a time of need
