Right guys , this is my tank for the mini.

The tank had a cap directly on top of it but ive made a neck for it to ease filling it up, the prob im going to have is not noing when its full untill it starts coming out.

Does anyone no if there are any fittings available to fit an external pipe as a level? obviously it woul have to be 100% sealed and the pipe be clear but fuel resistant.

Thanks Rick

Ah, that makes sence.

It will be a rare ocasion that it will be filled up at petrol station, its more like jerry cans.

I have a site pipe on my tank, but I have to replace it every few weeks as it keeps going cloudy. I'm still trying to fine some clear hose which does not turn white in time with fuel.

Would you be able to use a fuel filter without the element in it, and connect it as high up the filling pipe or tank as possible. So when the filter is full of petrol it would show you how high the fuel level is.

Hope that makes sense.

Yes that definitly makes sence, id have to put one lower down aswell to see when it was getting low?

Thinking about it now i think its more important that i see when its getting empty rather than full, the worst that can happen when full is it will just go everywhere.

Rick

ps nick il pm gavin. thanks
