Has anyone used or have any comments on one of these.

I no there dearer than a regular one but they will take my fuel fittings ive got rather than me having to mod my origanal.

is that a rising rate regulator? doesn't look like it to me.

Why not drill and tap a std metro turbo reg to fit yor jic fittings?

Thats my other option jim, just thaught if there was somthing else to use that didnt need moding it would just make life easyer.

Dude,

Drilled and tapped mine easy job. Never even considered buying an after market item.

Have you drilled and tapped your carb aswell? what size fittings did you use, i gather the lines are -6

Dude,

Drilled and tapped mine easy job. Never even considered buying an after market item.

did the lot the fittings were1/8 BSPT AND 1/8 NPT I believe the tapping drill was 11/32

I will dig up the phone number of the company I got the parts from. Its on Queens road in Watford but I cant remember the name Custom Hoses possibly.

Here is a list of the part numbers you can choose from to adapt your fuel regulator.

Blanking plugs

From Burnett Hillman:-
Plug +'O' ring seal 1/8" part No. BSPP 3869-02-SPG
Plug + Bonded 'O' ring seal 1/8" part No. BSPP 9025-02-SPG
Plug +'O' ring seal 10 x 1 part No. BSPP 3869-M10-SPG

From AIGNEP:-
SS 1/8 part No. 62315-1/8"
Ni plated brass 1/8" part No. ZV-10 (includes 'O' ring seal)

Adaptors

From Burnett Hillman:-

1/8 x1/8 part No. IB T0202

From AIGNEP:-
SS 1/8" part No. 62000-1/8
Ni plated brass BSPT-BSPT part No. DN10/10K

From HY FITT:-
1/8-1/8 BSPT-BSPT part No. 2025-1708
1/8-1/8 BSPP-NPTF part No. 2025-1633

GOODRICH anodised fittings

120 degree swept female 9/16 x 18 Part No. 236-12006
straight female 9/16 x 18 part No. 236-0106
90 degree swept female 9/16 x 18 part No. 236-9006

There are a lot of companies that will do the adaptors and blanks it would be a personal choice. I fitted SS steel through out.
