is that a rising rate regulator? doesn't look like it to me.

Thats my other option jim, just thaught if there was somthing else to use that didnt need moding it would just make life easyer.

did the lot the fittings were1/8 BSPT AND 1/8 NPT I believe the tapping drill was 11/32

Thanks thats very helpfull, i should be ok for the fittings ive got a supplyer near me.
