Yes Mini are VERY expensive here in the US. Cars are expensive, but especially parts are very expensive. I helped a guy to start a rebuilt Inno, he spent 15k $ on the car which has much less nice features than mine that costed me 3k euros. std 998 A+, g295, MD266, RHF4, 109hp @0.8bar/5400rpm |

Looks like an anti roll bar to me as it goes through the front footwell and is presumably linked behind the pedals/column to the other side.
Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.
