Yes Mini are VERY expensive here in the US. Cars are expensive, but especially parts are very expensive. I helped a guy to start a rebuilt Inno, he spent 15k $ on the car which has much less nice features than mine that costed me 3k euros.

Looks like an anti roll bar to me as it goes through the front footwell and is presumably linked behind the pedals/column to the other side.

Minivanless, but reluctantly happy living with the decision. There'll be another one day.
