Welcome.

It's in better condition than the one I'm working on !!!

Doesn't the registration plate make it an 87 model though ???

Make sure you use proper sills, none of the 9" over sill crap. they are nothing but a bodge! *happy*

Both of mine have them and they are coming of!

Hi Sebastiaan, I think we've met in august last year. I have bought a 998 from your dad and we've lifted into my Mazda 323 Fastbreak. You can see the engine here: http://projects.ferrenzo.nl/2008_08_01_archive.html (start at the bottom and scroll to the top to see the progress)

Regards,

Thimo

So, I hadn't been here for a long time, lots of things have changed!
I've sold the Studio 2, and bought a 1991 Carb Cooper 1300!
this ones a bit more crusty, but is a better base though :)
and last week I bought an incomplete Metro Turbo engine, well, all the specific turbo components are there, but the block itself could be a factory refurbished 1275 GT engine...
The turbo is in great nick, also an original Metro Turbo cylinderhead is there and in great shape, looks like it's already ported!

this is my new Cooper, it's one of the few 1300 Carb model Coopers in Holland, this one's actually imported to the Netherlands from Belgium by the last owner!

some pics of the turbo:

The enginenumber, not sure what it is, can't seem to find in on the enginenumber overviews...

cheers, this time from Ghent, Belgium!
