My engine gasket set arrived today and I have to confess to not knowing where every single one of them goes, inc a few o rings and metal rings, any help labling this up?

you wont use all of them so dont worry when there are some still sat on the side "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

The black and the matching grey one is for the diff housing where the pot joints attach. The rubber bit sits between the box and the crank, next to the timing cover. Top right is timing cover with (top) water pump and oil pump inside it. Bottom right is a differnt timing cover with various oil filter and pump gaskets inside. One of the O rings sits in the box where the oil pickup pipe feeds oil into the block. The big black ring (should be 2) are drive shaft oil seals. The smaller black ring is gear selector oil seals. I have a couple of coorections: The black and matching grey one are actually the front plate gasket. The single o ring will be for the timing chain cover oil seal. 6 out of 8 Apbellamy |

the copper ring is for the water tap plug that are on some blocks. |
