Thats only the Sheffield one, can't say for others. Also think you have to have an invite to attend? Although probably worth turning up on the day and blag way in.

I had an invite to the VAT free day at the Barnsley shop last weekend and the Sunday after Christmas. Didn't have what I wanted on the first one, and was the girlfriends birthday last Sunday On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Can the clark ones handle the weight of a complete A Series (engine, box, flywheel, ancilories etc)? Cast iron is quite heavy... On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Rubbish, yep, your right, only Sheffield as not doing it at mine! Last time Id lost my invite, they looked on the system and saw that I had bought loads from them in the past and let me have the discount. I had my Elise with me at the time. They did make the smart arse comment that if I could afford a 30k Lotus Elise, why did I need to bother getting a discount and why I was asking for the cheaper jack rather than the £90 one! in birmingham it is vat free on clarke only 10% on anything else. you can always haggle |
