would it be posible to use some wood or metal to go from the shock mount on the top arm to the top shock mount to get an idea of the hight of the car w/o damage? the car has no glass, engine interior ect just want it sitting low to get an idea and some more motivation.

just to try and get some more motivation into it, im getting alot more now with time off and trying to get it to welding. just make it look better while its sat in the garage :) Drives

why would you want t do that? the only way ive ever found of doing it is wheel off, adjust, wheel back on stand back and start the process again. (using the same turns for the other side) |

yep i get the point however you would have to remove the dampers and suspension cones, if your going to go to that effort why not throw on some hilo's rather than fucking about with bits of wood rods ect if your going to lower hilo's will have to be fitted anyway at some point Edited by wolfie on 9th Jan, 2009. put the wheel on. jack wheel up to the desired height. job done nice and quick.

its true, if you taking the old trumpets out you may aswell just put hi-los on there and then especially since there about 30 quid anyway. its not more than a days work and i work really slow! lol

im not going to be using hi-lows or cones, which is why i thought about this :). i dont want to spend out on coilovers yet as i dont need them. i wanted abit of a lepo idea in my head to help things along Drives
