well after 8 years my 450 amp exide battery has finaly gave up the gouste .

it has been a bloody good servant to the hog and never have had to top it up with water,

so had to get a banner battery so dont no what this will be like but its got a 3 year garrentee so should be good

the exide had a 4 year garentee so she had doubled her live.

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas

varta are supposed to be very good.

unsuprisingly halfords ones are fucking shite, and expensive.

I'm duty manager of a halfords, and the halfords batterys are supplied by varta, and tbh yes they are hidiously expensive, but we hardly get any back.

Maybe you can answer why, when ever I am in a Halfords store, waiting for 10 minuits at the parts counter, then go looking for some one without succes, not wanting to disturb the only Halfords staff member on the till with a que the length of the store, only to go back the the parts counter, there is some one being served by three staff, that were no where to be seen before.

Halfords staff are like busses, nothing for ages then they all turn up at once. I also got told that a simple part like a relay was a vehicle specific part and not on the shelf *Rofl!* Needless to say I looked over the staore and couldnt find one!

that goes for any store, not just my local.
