Engine crane arrived yesterday so I thought I better pull my finger out and do some work on the mini.

Was fortunate to not encounter any issues, even with the dreaded roll pin (a quick TM search revealed a post by Denis about watchmakers screwdrivers, worked a treat)

Rebuild can start now, only limiting factor is my wallet as I'm getting married this year.

Turbophil had a butt plug made that seemed to be suitable. He may have finished with it now and have it kicking around spare

yeah, it was just lashed together last year as I was fed up of not being able to drive it. Engine is pretty much bog standard atm.

Brief list of plans:

Better head (bigger valves, slighter bigger chambers)
hotter cam (need to do some research on that)
smaller turbo (thinking t25)
less restrictive exhaust elbow
bigger intercooler
cross pin diff
straight cut drops (mainly for the noise if I'm honest)
MJLJ
lose some weight from it
crank up the boost

Target for when it's back together is to get it to run a 14.5
