Just number 3 is needed really. The piston got friendly with the head after the big end bolts on the rod decided they weren't going to play anymore. So rod and Piston are US. Thankfully the block survived and the crank is in intensive care but may still pull through. |

Feed grapes down the carb. 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

unusual for an A+ end cap to let go, i have had it done with some old cooper S rods. Mate on rebuild use the ARP ones, for the sake of £60 its worth it !!

The cap had ARP stud and bolts. The only thing I can think of is either a bad one or the engine builder didn't seat it properly or do it up correctly (I'll sack me latter). It had lock thread on it to.

Do you mean by "lock Thread" that you put some kind of locking compound on the thread's if so I would put my money on that being what caused your problam :(.

because the bolts wont have torqued up right they are designed to be used wih arp lube not lock tite. On 17th Feb, 2009 Rob H said:
