I have one and find it very useful. But I got it free, not sure I'd splash out £30 on it

I've seen how much fun you have setting them up! Especially roller rockers...

I know better now. 15thou sliding sideways on 1.5 roller rockers. not 12thou sliding forwards and backwards.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

What clearance does it set your tappets to?

Depends how many clicks you give it...

1 click = 1 thou.

So you wind in until there is no clearence then click it out until you get to your desired setting. e.g 12 clicks = 12 thou.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

Then after you have got your 12 clicks and 12 thou it all gets buggered up when your hands fractionally move the adjustment screw when tightning everything up.
I have a click adjust and can't see how they can be any better than feelers .

So you still need feelers!

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

TBH even if i used that tool (and i was given one) i would still use a feeler to double check. make sure the tool wasnt pissing around.

I'd spend the cash elsewhere that is for sure.

A feeler guage, a spanner and a srewdriver all day long for me.

Then rule of Nine....
