Anyone know anything about these, is it possible to get them ?

I know there is a least one person on here running a 1500cc motor

do Omega do a version ?

the yellow bible recommends them with a 86mm stroke crank as the best power producer ?

what about ordering some custom pistons from wiseco or the like? about the same price as forged pistons from the usual suspects...

You will need to hack about 9mm off the top of the block even with a stroked crank. Custom is the way to go, then you will get the exact piston for the job :) Remember, the A series piston has a very tall crown hight compared to most other engines.

Oh and you will need a custom head gasket *wink*

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

I think you may be getting confused with the first lot of JE pistons that were available for the A series which also required about 9mm chunk taken off the top of the block. The pistons I have are original factory Triumph 2.5 pistons and far from performance items *wink* Im sure you could get performance Triumph 2.5 pistons, but you will still have the crown hight problem.

Big is not always better *wink*
